Alaskan wildlife abounds among the surrounding lakes and mountains. Volcanoes, sunsets, moose, caribou, brown bear, wolves, foxes, eagles as well as other small animals and numerous migratory birds make Bear Lake Fishing Lodge a photographer's paradise. Personalized flight seeing and day trips can be arranged, weather and tides permitting, for an additional charge. Via small plane, you may visit volcanoes and hot springs, and see the sights of the beautiful Bering Sea.

Alaskan weather is always hard to predict, so it's best to be prepared for warm and cold days. Leather boots are best early in the season, but insulated packs are good later.
